About the program
The Mawhiba English Preparation Program aims to enhance students’ proficiency in English by focusing on the four key language skills—listening, reading, writing, and speaking—over a period of 6 weeks.
 Before the program begins, students take a placement test to assess their language proficiency and are then assigned to classes that correspond to their current level.

Registration in the National Program for Gifted Identification is your gateway to joining the Mawhiba English Preparation Program, once you meet the required qualification level.

Note: Registration will be open in October. 

 

Eligible Applicants for the Program: 
Students registered in the National Program for Gifted Identification, from grades 7 to 9, are eligible for the Mawhiba English Preparation Program.

 

 


Program Registration Requirements 


1. The student must be of Saudi nationality or born to a Saudi mother. Non-Saudi students may be admitted, but their number should not exceed 10% of the total student enrollment.
2. The student must achieve 1400 on the Mawhiba Multiple Cognitive Aptitude Test (MMCAT).
3.  The student must have a solid foundation in the English language, including vocabulary and its meanings, sentence structure, grammar, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and written analysis.
Listening: The ability to hear, comprehend, and interpret spoken language.
Reading: The ability to read and understand written text.
Speaking: The ability to express oneself verbally and engage in dialogue with others.
Writing: The ability to construct sentences and express ideas clearly in writing.

Program Fee Partial Exemption Request

You can apply for a partial exemption of program registration fees through the registration system if you fall into one of the following categories, provided that supporting documents should be attached for verification. 
 •  Families receiving social security benefits.
 •   Individuals registered with a charitable organization.
 •  Children of martyrs. 
 •  Individuals whose financial incapacity is verified through a legal document, such as an insolvency certificate.

Online: The Mawhiba English Preparation Program is implemented online via the e-learning platform, providing access to the students throughout all regions of Saudi Arabia.

What is the qualification program for the Mawhiba English Language Qualification Program?

Classes are separated by gender.

How do I nominate myself/my son/daughter for the Mawhiba English Language Rehabilitation Program?

The student must be registered in the National Program for Discovering Gifted Students.

The program serves male and female students in all cities of the Kingdom (remotely), for those who meet the nomination criteria for participation mentioned.

Is there a contribution value for participating in the Mawhiba English Language Preparation Program?

Yes, the contribution value is set at 400 riyals.

Is there a percentage for the student's attendance to obtain the certificate?

Yes, the student must attend all lectures and activities in the program and will be denied the award of the certificate if his/her attendance rate is less than (70%) of the program hours. It is also permissible, as an exception, to award the certificate to the student if his/her attendance rate is less than (70%) of the program hours if he/she presents an acceptable excuse, provided that the attendance rate is not less than (60%) of the program hours.
