About the Program

The Mawhiba Skills Enrichment Program is designed to foster the development of personal skills of oratory and public speaking, or Entrepreneurship and Innovation, or creative writing, or Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence.


The program offers four key areas:
1.    Oratory and Public Speaking. 
2.    Generation of Literature (Creative Writing) in cooperation with Ministry of Culture. 
3.    Entrepreneurship and Innovation in cooperation with Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at).
4.    Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence.

Program Objectives

Oratory and Public Speaking:

  1. Augmenting personal attributes and public speaking competence in Mawhiba students.
  2. Enabling students to effectively manage stress and maintain composure in public settings.
  3.  Facilitating the development of logical thinking and organization using mind mapping. 
  4. Teaching the essential components of effective speech delivery and the key factors that contribute to success. 
  5. Cultivating proficient use of body language, vocal modulation, and eye contact in public speaking engagements. 
  6. Enhancing the listening comprehension abilities of students.

 

Creative Writing:

  1. Fostering the capacity for literary expression and composition.
  2. Cultivating inquiry and research skills, such as observation, comparison, measurement, communication, classification, analysis, generalization, and evaluation.
  3. Developing problem-solving, critical thinking, creative thinking, and higher-order thinking skills.
  4. Enhancing self-confidence, self-regulation, self-direction, and self-awareness.

 

Entrepreneurship and Innovation:

  1. To raise students' awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation and their importance.
  2. To teach students the fundamentals and concepts of entrepreneurship to transform ideas into reality.
  3. To empower students to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aligns with entrepreneurship and innovation.

 

Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence:


1.    Acquiring concepts and fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its components.
2.    Understanding machine learning, its types, and how it works.
3.    Understanding the concept of data and algorithms.

Implementation Partners

The "Mawhiba" Skills Enrichment Program in Creative Writing (Generation of Literature) is implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Literature, publishing & Translation Commission.

 

The "Mawhiba" Skills Enrichment Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation is implemented in collaboration with the Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at).

Note: Registration for the program is available from October to November each year, and it is implemented from March to May.

Program Registration Requirements

1. The student must be of Saudi nationality or have a Saudi mother. Other non-Saudis will be accepted, provided they do not exceed 10% of the total student intake.

2. The student must achieve the required score in the Mawhiba Multiple Cognitive Aptitude Test (MMCAT).

3. The student must reside in the city where the program is being held, if registering for the in-person program.

4. The student must pay the required financial contribution to finalize their registration in the program as shown in following table:

Program Fee Partial Exemption

A partial exemption request from program registration fee can be submitted through the registration system if you belong to one of the following categories, provided that supporting documents are attached to verify the validity of the request.

•  Families receiving social security benefits.

 • Individuals registered with a charitable organization.

•  Children of martyrs.

 Individuals whose financial incapacity is verified through a legal document, such as an insolvency certificate.

Program Implementation Method

The program is implemented both in-person, in collaboration with distinguished schools, and remotely through an online educational platform.

Oratory and Public Speaking


This program develops students' Public Speaking and Oratory skills through ten key competencies, facilitated by specialized trainers and diverse activities. These competencies include:
1.    Communication.

5.    Creative thinking.
6.    Self-confidence.
7.    Building a mind map.
8.    Presentation of ideas.           
9.    Stress Management and coping with pressures. 
10.    Public Speaking, presentation and body language.

 

Creative Writing


Firstly: Creative Writing Abilities: Covering a range of literary genres, including science fiction, detective fiction, children's literature, flash fiction, and diverse essay forms. 
Secondly: Advanced Linguistic Skills: Pertaining to linguistic inference, reading comprehension, language adaptability, the interpretation of linguistic metaphors and imaginative artistic imagery, and the ability to create vivid artistic scenes through language.

 

Entrepreneurship & Innovation


The program consists of 8 competencies through which students discover entrepreneurship and innovation skills using diverse activities and with the assistance of specialized trainers. These competencies include:
1.    Concept of an Entrepreneurial Mindset.
2.    Concept of Entrepreneurship.
3.    Concept and Types of Innovation.
4.    Marketing and Its Objectives.
5.    Concept of Financial Literacy.
6.    Designing a Commercial Identity.
7.    Time Management.
8.    Financial Plan.

 

Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence


The program consists of five competencies through which students explore the fundamentals of artificial intelligence using various activities and with the support of specialized trainers. These competencies are:
1.    Fundamentals and Landscape of Artificial Intelligence.
2.    Concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Prompt Engineering.
3.    Mastering Artificial Intelligence Tools.
4.    Agentic Artificial Intelligence (RAG: AI Agents).
5.    Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Implementation.

What is the Mawhiba Enrichment Program?
It is an integrated training program that focuses on building the skills of public speaking, entrepreneurship, innovation and creative writing among students in middle and high school.
How do I nominate myself/my child/for the Mawhiba Skills Enrichment Program?
The student must be registered in the National Program for Giftedness Identification , in accordance with the criteria and admission requirements for registration in the program.
When is the Mawhiba Enrichment Program held?
The program is implemented during the second semester, and is held once a week if in-person on Saturday for four hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, or two days a week if remotely for two hours from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, or on Saturday remotely also for one day a week only from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the implementation extends for a period ranging from 7 to 9 weeks according to the program. The student can choose the days of implementation method and the appropriate teaching days.
What are the methods or approaches used in the Mawhiba enrichment program?

The methods and approaches used in training depends on applying training sessions, games and special activities that target students’ personal skills.

Is there a specific city where the Mawhiba Enrichment Program will be held?
The program serves all students in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran (in-person), Students from other cities in the Kingdom can participate in the program (remotely), for those who meet the nomination criteria for participation.
Is there a contribution value for participating in the Mawhiba Enrichment Program?
Yes, the guardian’s contribution to the program will be as follows: In-person: 500 riyals Remote: 300 riyals Exemption: 150 riyals
How do I pay the guardian's contribution to the program?

Can I get back the guardian’s contribution if I do not attend the Mawhiba Enrichment Program?
The specified contribution amount for participation in the program will be refunded in the event that the student apologizes for attending the program in accordance with the following controls: - 1- The student must have an emergency and compelling circumstance that prevents him from attending the program, as documented in an official document, such as a health problem that prevents him from attending, or a first-degree death.
