Tamayuz Program

The Mawhiba Program for Elite Universities (Tamayuz) is an integrated training program to qualify and prepare the best students wishing to study at prestigious American universities ranked among the top 50 universities in the world. The program is implemented in cooperation with a specialized American consulting company and continues for one year starting from the second semester of grade 11 until the student obtains admission to the university.

• An intensive SAT workshop designed to help students achieve competitive scores required by top-tier universities
• An advanced workshop focused on leadership development and the application process for elite universities
• A short workshop focused on College Application Strategies
• Seven one-on-one counseling sessions, during which a comprehensive plan is created to enhance each student’s academic profile and personal background.
• Assisting the student in applying to three elite universities (writing the essay, CV, filling out forms and obtaining letters of recommendation)

Enrollment Requirements for the Mawhiba Program for Elite Universities (Tamayuz)

Target Group:
Students in Grade 11

Program Format:

Online.

Program Registration Requirements:

  1. The student must have a minimum of 90% in their overall school average for Grade 9 and Grade 10.
  2. The student must achieve at least 90% in Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science during Grades 9 & 10.
  3. The student must obtain a minimum score of 1000 on the SAT, or achieve an equivalent score on one of the following alternative tests:

     4. The student must pass the personal interview.

     5. The student must read and acknowledge the terms and policies and comply with all program requirements.

      6. The student must pay all program fees after receiving notification of acceptance into the program, for final registration to be confirmed.   

Note: Registration for the program is open from September to October each year, with the program officially beginning in November and continuing for a full year.

1. Program fees do not cover test registration or university application fees.
2. Children of Saudi citizen mothers will be treated as Saudi students with regard to program fees.

What is the Tamayuz Program?

Who is the target audience?

What is the SAT test?

Where can I take the SAT?

Do students receive any preparatory training before joining the program?

Yes, the Preparation for Tamayuz Program is offered to grade 10 students, which introduces students to university admission requirements early on and prepares them to achieve the SAT score required to register in The Tamayuz Program.

How can I study medicine in America?

Medicine is not available for undergraduate study at American universities. However, students wishing to study medicine in America can study a scientific major such as biology or chemistry at the undergraduate level and then start studying medicine after obtaining a bachelor's degree. What documents are required from the student?

The following documents are required from the student:

Grade 9 and Grade 10 school certificate

SAT test report or results from other required tests

When is the program fee due?

The fees are paid after passing the personal interview and the student is notified of his acceptance into the program.

When is the personal interview scheduled?

After completing the requirements in the registration form, the student’s status is changed from registered to candidate. The student then books an interview appointment on the system.

What kind of questions does a personal interview include?

General questions are used to measure your English language level and identify your academic and professional inclinations.

What majors are available for study?

The majors recommended by Mawhiba are STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). To learn about the majors available for each scholarship entity, you can view them in important links.

Can I register for the program if I do not know what major I intend to study?

Yes. One of the advantages of the program is that it helps you decide which major you want to study.

Why should a student take the SAT before enrolling in the Tamayuz Program?

Prestigious universities require an SAT score between 1400-1600. Therefore, an applicant is required to have a minimum SAT score of 1000 and then undergo test coaching to achieve the required score from the universities.

How can I prepare for the SAT before the test date?

There are many useful websites that help students prepare for the test. You can view important links to access the websites.

Can I get admission into the Tamayuz Program with just my STEP test score?

The STEP test score is accepted for application to the Preparation for Tamayuz Program, but not for the Tamayuz Program targeting grade 11 students.

When registering for the SAT, I am asked for my school code, and I do not have it. What should I do?

You can choose "my school is not listed" and then complete the steps.

Do I have to do all the English tests mentioned in the program's page?

You can only take one of the tests shown on the program page.

Can I take the SAT ONLINE from home?

The SAT ONLINE test is administered at select test centers. There is no option to take the test from home.

Do I have to enter the "Preparation for Tamayuz" Program in order to be able to register for the E"Tamayuz" Program?

Participation in the "Preparation for Tamayuz" Program is not required to be accepted into the Tamayuz Program.

What does a non-Saudi student benefit from participating in the program?

Non-Saudi students can register to benefit from the program content and training.

Does the Tamayuz program end with the scholarship?

The Mawhiba Program for Elite Universities (Tamayuz) focuses exclusively on training. Once a student is admitted to a prestigious university, they can apply for scholarships through partner agencies such as the Ministry of Education, KAUST, Aramco, and others.

Does the program target British and American universities?

No, the program targets American universities only.
