Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program
Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program
About the Program
The Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals and ethics of scientific research, as well as the intellectual property associated with it. The program focuses on developing essential skills such as using laboratory equipment, following safety protocols, handling materials, conducting experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, writing scientific reports, generating original research ideas, and drafting research summaries in technical and scientific fields. Through direct collaboration with scientific specialists and hands-on laboratory experience, students will acquire these skills while also enhancing both their personal and technical development.
The Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program is delivered in partnership with leading scientific and technical organizations. It focuses on enhancing students' scientific research skills through hands-on experience with valuable, real-world research conducted in laboratories. The program also promotes the development of personal and social skills. It can be offered on a full-time, part-time, or online basis (in suitable areas) at a number of research centers located in universities, hospitals, and leading scientific research institutes. The Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program targets students in grades 9, 10, and 11 from all cities across Saudi Arabia. Typically, the program takes place during the summer vacation, lasting 4 weeks. Distinguished students with promising research ideas are further supported through the Mawhiba Mentorship Program for a period of 6 months, during which they receive scientific support and supervision for the development of their research.
